Paul is responsible for developing the group’s principal and seed investing activities, as well as chairing the firm’s risk and compliance committees.
He commenced his career as a lawyer at MinterEllison in 1996 before becoming a top-rated research analyst during a decade at Goldman Sachs JBWere.
Paul joined Evans and Partners in 2008 as a founding partner and research analyst covering a range of industrial sectors. He subsequently held a range of senior roles including Head of Research, Managing Director (Sydney), Head of Capital Markets and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
As CEO of Evans and Partners from 2013 to 2018, Paul led the Management Team with responsibility for the overall strategy, financial and risk management, compliance and operations of the firm. He was heavily involved in negotiations and due diligence leading up to the firm’s 2017 merger with Dixon Advisory to form Evans Dixon Limited.
In addition to holding a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne, Paul has also completed the International Executive Program at INSEAD after being awarded FINSIA's Hugh D.T. Williamson Scholarship.
