Eddie McGuire is an accomplished businessman, bestselling author and one of Australia’s most acclaimed media personalities.

He is recognised for roles as CEO of the Nine Network, and host of The Footy Show and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He has also hosted Olympic and Commonwealth Games coverage and is currently the face of Fox Footy’s AFL coverage and Melbourne’s FM breakfast radio program, The Hot Breakfast. He is regarded as one of the major influences of the Australian media landscape.

Off air, Eddie owns one of Australia’s fastest-growing independent media production companies, McGuire Media, and has been President of the Collingwood Football Club since 1998 – helping guide them to their first premiership in 20 years and being named as one of the most valuable sporting clubs in the world.

Eddie is President of the Melbourne Stars Cricket Team in the Big Bash League, Chairman of the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre, and sits on a number of other boards.

He has been awarded a Centenary Medal, an Australian Sports Medal, and an honorary doctorate from RMIT University, as Doctor of Communications Honoris Causa. He has also been made a Life Member of the Australian Football Media Association and is a Member of the Order of Australia.
