We released the results of the monthly Evans and Partners Reality Channel Survey that focuses on the Retail Sector late last week. The survey showed the strongest sales result since we commenced this initiative 15 months ago. We discuss this result including the retailers margins, the impact of on-line retailers and expectations leading into Christmas this year.
As a result of the survey we have maintained a positive view on David Jones Ltd, and will be monitoring the balance of the sector where there may be broker related earnings upgrades.
