On the first edition of the Morning Mail for the week, David is joined by Evans and Partners Chief Investment Officer Mike Hawkins.
Mike comments on a number of events that have happened internationally since he last appeared on the Morning Mail last week – aversion of a US Federal Government “Shutdown”, an interest rate increase by the European Central Bank and continued data flow from China.
In the face of the equity market sell down in response to the events in Japan during March, Mike increased his Asset Allocation weighting to Domestic Equities. Mike comments on this move now that markets have returned to the index levels they were pre this event.
