Seek Ltd reported a mixed 1st Half result with a strong performance from the core Employment division and International investments overshadowed by a disappointing Education result. While external factors played a role, Seek’s due diligence & management controls were also found wanting. We expand on recent management changes and the reasons we retain a Positive recommendation on Seek.
Ramsay Healthcare Ltd produced one of the standout results of this reporting season. While this had been foreshadowed in a December trading update, the result confirmed that significant investment in capacity expansion in Australia over the past 3 years is now generating strong returns. We touch on the next steps and regulatory risks to Ramsay’s strong earnings growth outlook.
