On the final edition of the Evans and Partners Morning Mail for this week, David is joined by Senior Research Analyst Tony Wilson to discuss News Corporation’s half yearly result.
Tony discusses the company’s strong results in their Television and Cable divisions, including management’s expectation that EBIT will growth to $1 Billion in TV over the next 2-3 years and expectation for continued growth in Cable, which makes up in excess of 50% of consolidated earnings.
Tony also provides commentary on the publishing and film businesses where the results were lower than the prior year and closes with brief comments on his 5% lift in valuation. The company remains in the Evans and Partners Model Portfolio.
