OUR PEOPLE

Stephen Arnold joined Evans and Partners in April, 2011 as a Senior Research Analyst specialising in International Equities.

Stephen has been investing for 20 years, with 17 of these years spent in international markets.

Stephen began his career as an Australian equities analyst at Banker’s Trust in 1991 before joining Platinum Asset Management in 1994 to cover US equities. After several years at Platinum, Stephen joined Colonial First State to cover European equities. He then moved to London with CFS in 1999. Stephen joined Sarasin Asset Management in London as Head of Global Research in 2002 before being recruited to Goldman Sachs Asset Management to be part of a small global equity team serving Private Wealth Management clients.

At Goldman he held the position of Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, overseeing a $5bn global equity portfolio. Stephen returned to Australia in 2008 and spent two years at Global Value Investors before joining Evans and Partners.

• Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business from UTS and is a CFA charter holder.
