David Evans is the Executive Chairman of Evans and Partners Pty Ltd having established the investment advisory company in June 2007.

David has spent his working life in the world of investment banking and stockbroking. Since 1990, he has worked in a variety of roles within JB Were & Son, and then the merged entity Goldman Sachs JBWere Pty Ltd. Prior to establishing Evans and Partners David ran Goldman Sachs JBWere’s Private Wealth business and the Institutional Equities business. His most recent role at GSJBW was as Managing Director and Chief of Staff.

David has lived in Melbourne all his life, and finished his formal education in 1988 at Monash University. He is Chairman of Essendon Football Club and Open Family Foundation, as well as a director of Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC). David is also a member of Monash University Campaigns Committee.
