OUR PEOPLE

Paul started his working life as an apprentice coppersmith, building ships at the Royal Naval Dockyards in Williamstown. After four years in the trade, he found himself in the engineer’s office working as a drafting assistant. From there, he worked as a project planner assisting in bids for ship building contracts. This role required extensive computing expertise, which serendipitously launched Paul into a 20 year career in IT. His time in IT took him across the world consulting for the hard rock and coal mining industries, telecommunications and rail transport sectors. In 1998, he commenced at JBWere and Sons in the IT department, but soon transferred to the Legal and Compliance area to begin the third tranche of his working life as a compliance professional. Paul joined Evans and Partners in February 2010 after ten years of service at JBWere.
