John Knights has worked in corporate advisory for the last 16 years. He commenced his career in merger and acquisitions at Macquarie Bank in 1992 before transferring in 1994 to Macquarie Equity Capital Markets (MECM) the division of Macquarie Bank responsible for primary and secondary equity issuance. John spent 12 years with MECM and was a Division Director responsible for the origination and/or execution of a number of large and medium size Initial Public Offers, secondary placements, rights issues and sell downs across a range of industries including infrastructure, healthcare, resources, property and general industrial companies. He worked briefly at Bell Potter Securities before joining Evans and Partners in May 2008. John has a LLB (Hons) and B Comm from Melbourne University and lives in Melbourne with his wife Petra and one child.
